CAD Door Replication
In our CAD I class during the Fall Semester of 2011, we were assigned a door located on FSU's campus. In groups, we were to meet together or separately to measure and estimate the door's dimensions and proportions. Individually, we had to replicate the door in a 2D CAD drawing and later add color to the 2D drawing to simulate the door's appearance. This project took place over several weeks and was used as practice for learning the tools and the functions of AutoCAD for Architecture. Below are photos of the actual Dodd Hall door and both of my door renditions.
